PAYMENT TERMS:
The following forms of payment are accepted by Electrified Discounters, Inc.:
1. Credit Cards Accepted: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover ON FIRST ORDERS ONLY, CHARGE CARD ORDERS MUST BE SHIPPED TO THE BILLING ADDRESS OF THE CARDHOLDER OR A BANK VERIFIED ALTERNATE ADDRESS! NO EXCEPTIONS!
We do this to protect our Customers and ourselves. There is a significant amount of credit card fraud on electronic purchases every year. By only shipping to an address that we can verify as being yours, we add an additional level of security to your purchase. Once we have shipped to you at your billing address, an alternative ship to address is acceptable for future purchases.
All charge card orders are billed within 24 hours from receipt of order.
We ship anywhere in the world, however, international credit cards will only be accepted if issued by a U.S. Bank through which we can receive address verification.

3. Prepayment: Orders may be prepaid with certified funds or money order payable to ELECTRIFIED DISCOUNTERS, INC. You may also prepay with a personal/company check, but the shipment will be delayed until the check clears, unless prior authorization has been received. Please be sure your name, address and telephone number appear on the check and/or the accompanying written order.
All orders originating outside of the Continental United States must be prepaid with U.S. certified funds or by Wire Transfer (see below). See Credit Cards above regarding international credit cards.
4. Open Account/Net Terms: Available to Government Agencies, Hospitals, Schools, or Fortune 1000 Companies only. We add a 5% surcharge to all open account orders.
5. Wire Transfer: All wire transfers within the U.S. are subject to a $30.00 wire transfer fee. Wire transfers from outside of the U.S. are subject to a $50.00 wire transfer fee. Be sure to include this fee in your transfer along with any and all additional bank fees - you are responsible for all bank charges.

6. State Sales Tax may apply if merchandise ordered is shipped from a distributor or manufacturer doing business within your state. If applicable, we will contact you to discuss this issue. Connecticut customers must pay Sales Tax.
What is the Security Code?
It is an important new security feature that now appears on the back of all Visa, MasterCard, and Discover, and on the front of American Express cards. This new code is a three or four-digit number, which provides a cryptographic check of the information, embossed on the card.
The Security Code helps validate that the customer placing the order actually has the credit card in his/her possession, and that the credit/debit card account is legitimate.
How does my Security Code protect me?
The security code is only printed on the card, and it is not contained in the magnetic stripe information nor does it appear on sales receipts or billing statements - you must have the card in your possession in order to use this code.
Card Security Codes are not raised, so they are not scanned into standard credit card readers. In theory, these numbers are only visible to you. When you give your card Security Code to a merchant, you assist the merchant in verifying that you, the cardholder, are placing the order.
Do I have to enter the Security Code?
YES, you must enter the code. Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express now require Internet stores to obtain the Security Code for all cards. In order for this transaction to be accepted and processed, you must enter this code. This is done for your protection.
Where can I find the Security Code?
American Express Users: Look for the 4-digit code printed on the front of your card just above and to the right of your main credit card number. This 4-digit code is your Card Security Code.
IMPORTANT ITEM DETAILS / SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS:
Special order items usually ship within 48 hours.
1. Important Item Details involve items that are shipped directly from our Distributor or Manufacturer to you. As such, they are NOT eligible for refunds or exchanges.
2. By agreement with individual manufacturers, the warranties for some of the items shipped from our warehouse are handled exclusively by the manufacturer's warranty agents. We are unable to take them back for refund or exchange.
3. Products which are marked with Important Item Details are NOT covered by our "30 day money back guarantee for refund or exchange" policy. You are fully covered by the Manufacturer's warranty during the warranty period.
4. Products refurbished by Electrified Discounters that are marked with Important Item Details are NOT covered by our “30 day money back guarantee for refund or exchange” policy. Defective product may be returned to Electrified Discounters for warranty service only.
5. Orders involving large quantity purchases on special offerings may require a deposit prior to ordering of merchandise. Electrified Discounters, Inc. will accept cancellations of these special order items at its own discretion. Approval must be obtained by calling (203) 787-4246. Please be sure you are willing to wait the necessary time for securing the items ordered, as the deposit is non-refundable unless approved by Electrified Discounters, Inc.
SHIPPING:
1. 99% of our orders for in stock merchandise are processed and shipped within 48 hours!
2. We ship to APOs and FPOs via U.S. Mail only. Any orders which need to be shipped via U.S. Mail will be shipped within 48 hours.
3. Minimum shipping charge is $10.00.
4. All orders are fully insured and the charges are incorporated into the shipping costs. Insurance charges are computed by adding $.60 for each $100.00 or fraction thereof of the full value of the merchandise.
5. All individual boxes weighing 70 lbs. or less are primarily shipped via UPS. Any single item over 70 lbs. will be shipped via trucking service (see #6 below).
6. LTL (TRUCK) SHIPMENTS:
LTL means "Less Than a Load" by tractor-trailer or truck. These charges are calculated based upon the number of units, shipping weight and the ship to location. Standard shipping rates are listed below, but it is recommended that you call us for the exact charge.
Basically, if an item is oversized, overweight or cannot be carried by UPS, then it must be shipped via LTL. This ground service for oversized items is not time definite. A lot depends upon what else is on the truck and where it is going.
Many of these items are strapped to a skid or palette, and that weight is also figured into the shipping price. LTL is safer than UPS and Federal Express for oversized items as your piece is handled individually, not in bulk like small packages.

SHIPPING DAMAGE:
1. Be sure that you inspect all cartons for obvious mishandling or damage before the delivery person leaves. Most freight carriers require damage notice next to your signature. You are responsible for following the carrier's policy of handling damaged shipments.
2. If damage is discovered after the package has been opened, call Electrified Discounters, Inc. and report it immediately. We will make arrangements with the carrier to pick up the damaged package. Arrangements will then be made to provide you with a replacement.
RETURNS:
1. Electrified Discounters, Inc. will accept merchandise for return from the original purchaser only (Click Here to see Important Item Details/Special Order Items for exceptions). Any products purchased must be returned within 30 days from date of invoice for a full refund of the hardware price. Allow up to 2 weeks for a refund.
2. ALL MERCHANDISE MUST BE RETURNED WITH ORIGINAL MANUFACTURERS' PACKAGING AND ALL ACCESSORIES - NO EXCEPTIONS! Items returned not in factory saleable condition will be charged a minimum 20% restocking fee.
3. Absolutely no returns after 30 days from date of invoice, and no returns of products that have been mishandled, abused, altered or used in such a way as to void the Manufacturers' warranty of such product.
4. ALL SHIPPING, LABOR AND HANDLING CHARGES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE.

RETURN AUTHORIZATIONS:
1. You must get a Return Authorization (RA) number before you return any piece of equipment. Please contact the Customer Service Department at (203) 787-4246, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM EST. This helps us tremendously, as we are aware of the problem and will expect your return.
2. The equipment must be received within two weeks from the day your RA is issued.
3. The RA number must appear on the return address label only. Please do not write on the original box.
4. We must receive all of the original packaging, and all accessories! All cartons must be returned in the manner in which they were received.
5. Make sure parcels are securely packaged and sealed. Due to the strain of shipping, many cartons cannot withstand additional shipping in their original carton. We strongly recommend double boxing. Electrified Discounters, Inc. will not be responsible for packaging of return items.
6. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPMENT AND INSURANCE COSTS FOR THE RETURN OF ALL MERCHANDISE.
7. Within our 30 day defective exchange period, we will pay return ground shipping charges for the identical type merchandise we send back to you, excluding taxes, duties, etc.
WARRANTIES:
* Electrified Discounters, Inc. passes on to you, the Customer, all of the Manufacturers' warranties (if any) for the products purchased. Certain products are also covered by Electrified Discounters, Inc.'s warranty, the terms of which are set forth in the following paragraphs. Only those products specified in our ads to be covered by Electrified Discounters, Inc.'s Limited Warranty are covered under our Limited Warranty.
Electrified Discounters, Inc. makes no other warranty with respect to any of the products, expressed or implied, including no warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose or use. Without limiting the foregoing, Electrified Discounters, Inc. shall not be liable or responsible for any damages caused by any defects in material or workmanship of any of the products, including, but not limited to, any consequential, incidental or special damages.

*VALID IN UNITED STATES AND CANADA ONLY IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PURCHASER TO ESTABLISH THE WARRANTY PERIOD BY VERIFYING THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE DATE.
Electrified Discounters, Inc., subject to the terms, limitations, conditions, disclaimers and exclusions contained in this Limited Warranty, warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship as follows:
1. PRODUCTS COVERED
Only those products specified in our advertisements to be covered by Electrified Discounters, Inc.'s Limited Warranty are covered by this Limited Warranty. All other products are covered only by the Manufacturer's Limited Warranty (if any), and Electrified Discounters, Inc. makes no warranty of any kind or nature regarding such products.
2. LENGTH OF LIMITED WARRANTY
The Limited Warranty is in effect for a period of not more than thirty (30) days (unless otherwise advertised) from date of purchase. For purposes of this Warranty, the product must be received by Electrified Discounters, Inc. within thirty (30) days after the date of invoice of the product to qualify under this Warranty.
3. WHO IS COVERED
The Limited Warranty is made only to the original purchaser of the product and does not extend to any subsequent purchasers or owners of the product. The original purchaser shall be required to test the product within the stated warranty period to determine if and what products are defective in material and workmanship.
4. WHAT IS COVERED
The Limited Warranty covers all defects in materials and workmanship (parts and labor) in the product, but DOES NOT COVER the following:
a. Damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect and/or damage during any type of transportation resulting from improper packaging (including shipment of the product to the factory for repair or replacement).
b. Damage to any product which has been altered in any fashion.
c. Damage resulting from causes other than product defects, including, and not by way of limitation, lack of technical skill, competence or experience of the user, and/or failure to use the product in accordance with the instructions provided in the user manual.
d. Service performed by an unauthorized person or entity.
5. HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE
a. You are responsible for delivery of and/or prepaid shipping charges for the product to Electrified Discounters, Inc. for repair. Electrified Discounters, Inc. will, at its option, repair or replace the product with a new or reconditioned product without charge. If the repairs are covered by the Limited Warranty, and if the product was properly shipped to Electrified Discounters, Inc., Electrified Discounters, Inc. will pay return shipping charges, excluding taxes, duties, etc.
b. Prior to returning the product, the purchaser must obtain from Electrified Discounters, Inc. a Return Authorization (RA) number. The purchaser is responsible for packaging the product to be returned, and should take care that the product is packed in its original packaging. Click Here to see Returns and Return Authorizations.
c. You must supply proof of your purchase of the product. Adequate proof of purchase is a sales receipt.
d. You should provide a detailed description of the problem for which service is requested.
6. USE OF PRODUCT OUT OF UNITED STATES OR CANADA
The Limited Warranty is limited to sale, delivery and use of the product in the United States or Canada only. In the event a purchaser or end user purchases, takes delivery of, or uses the product outside of the United States or Canada , this Limited Warranty shall automatically become null and void. 7. HOW WE EXCLUDE IMPLIED WARRANTIES
Any implied warranties, including fitness for use and merchantability, are limited in duration to the period of the expressed warranty set forth above. The remedies provided under this warranty are exclusive and in lieu of all others.
8. HOW WE EXCLUDE CERTAIN DAMAGES
Electrified Discounters, Inc. hereby expressly disclaims liability and shall not be responsible for incidental, consequential and contingent damages of any kind or nature, including, without limitation, (A) damages to persons or property, whether a claim for such damages is based upon warranty, contract, tort, or otherwise; (B) damages due to or arising out of the loss of data; or (C) lost profits.
9. HOW STATE LAW RELATES TO THE WARRANTY
This Limited Warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. In addition, some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, and some do not allow the exclusion limitation of incidental or consequential damages, accordingly, limitations as to these matters contained herein may not apply to you.
10. OTHER IMPORTANT PROVISIONS
a. Electrified Discounters, Inc.'s employees have no authority to make any warranties nor to authorize any remedies inconsistent with those stated above.
b. The Limited Warranty applies only to the products specified. To reiterate, this Limited Warranty covers only those products that are specified in writing to be covered under this Limited Warranty.
REFURBISHED PRODUCTS: BETTER THAN NEW
What does “Refurbished” mean?
We sell many types of products and proudly represent them as they truly are.
Refurbished means the product was initially tested and found faulty in some way or has been returned as defective to be rebuilt, repackaged and resold with a warranty, either from the manufacturer or from us at Electrified.
We also sell some off-lease units. These are units that have been used and are thoroughly tested, cleaned, and packaged. Most of these units come with a warranty from Electrified. Why are manufacturers' Refurbished products 'Better Than New’?
• Price: Significant Savings - Refurbs sell for a lot less in comparison to new products.
• Warranty: Most manufacturer refurbished products come with the Exact Same Warranty as their new products (i.e., Hewlett-Packard, Lexmark, Epson).
• Reliability: Statistically, manufacturer refurbs are more reliable than new products. Why? Refurbishment of a product requires the manufacturer to evaluate and correct a pre-existing problem the product may have.
• Packaging: Most, if not all, products that are refurbished by the manufacturer come with the same packaging as new products. One noticeable difference can be a sticker on the package that may read 'Refurbished'.
• Content: The manufacturer will normally include all of the accessories that would come with a new product.

FAQ What is an “Extended Warranty”?
An Extended Warranty “extends” the life of your original warranty that comes with your unit. For example, if you purchase a printer with a 90 day warranty, and purchase a 2 year Extended Warranty, the contract will cover all parts and labor for an additional 2 years. The Repair Tech warranty begins when the Manufacturer’s warranty ends. You have 30 days from the date of purchase to register your Extended Warranty. This can be done online at www.repairtechinc.com.

Is my Extended Warranty refundable?
